Profile - David Embleton
I'm an amateur photographer but like to think of myself as an artist of light. The majority of my landscape photos are taken in the South West of England.
Plymouth is my home town and I've been living in Plymouth since the age of thirteen. Since the age of fifteen I've had a camera in my hand and enjoyed taking photographs. I'm now in my early 50's.
The digital age of photography could not have come faster for me and my first Digital SLR was the Canon D30 in 2002.
In the days of film the results from photographic labs were always disappointing and the opportunity to take the complete process in house and print your own photos has only enhanced the pleasure of photography for me.
